Believe it or not, there is a popular and old school club in the world of consumer vegetables. Having hobbies in botany and cooking, I love using herbs, spices and old school local vegetables in my daily food. That’s why I decided to make a tribute to many of healthy (mostly plant) ingredients that shape my way of living and eating. In this section, I will bring you a story of some of the less-known local ingredients, their tastes and ways to incorporate them in our daily life and cooking. Our ingredient highlight today is noni, or scientically known as morinda citrifolia. It is native to Southeast Asia and parts of Australia and New Zealand. Thai Chili Oil Paste (Nam Prik Pao): A simplified version for any home kitchens (En/ไทย)

Thai chili oil paste has always been in the background of the most iconic Thai dish; Tom Yum (Thai spicy and sour soup), plus many less known Thai dishes. The paste is made by frying a paste of chili, shallot and garlic in mild-flavored oil. The result is not only spicy oil infused with color of the paste, but also a little sweet and nutty aroma. It can be enjoyed as a condiment in soup, stir-fries and salads. Easy Sichuan Noodle Soup with Dumplings (En/ไทย)

Chinese Sichuan cuisine is famous for its spicy and vibrant dishes. One of the key features of this cuisine is the use of aromatic chili oil to please sight, smell and taste at the same time. As a part of the cuisine, Sichuan noodle soup is characterized by its bright red color and spiciness. Another plus point is that it is simply delicious and easy to make! It only takes about 15 minutes to assemble; it is a perfect dish for any lazy days
